School Board Approves $32M Budget for 2008-2009
The Robbinsville school board approved a budget for 2008-2009 of $32 million. This would increase the tax rate to $1.22 per $100 of assessed value, a five cent increase over from the previous year. The lack of state aid was cited as the main reason for the increase. Robbinsville Township is expected to receive $2.8 million in state aid making it the second lowest recipient of aid in Mercer County.
