Your property taxes will be going up anyhow thanks to the new school budget which has slashed state aid some 58% for Robbinsville Township. I supported the school referendum. What we need to change is the waste of our state government. We all pay for the mismanagement of New Jersey, now more than ever.
Fiscal responsibility needs to be addressed but infrastructure needs also need to be addressed. Now you will have increased taxes without the benefit of school improvements.

Howard Beale yelling out the window, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!" is what we who voted no are increasingly doing at the ballot box. The NJ system reminds me of the city states of Greece in the 5th century BC of the fiefdoms of medieval Europe. One for one and all for none. Robbinsville should not have it's own school district - fire the superintendent and the other 2 chief administrators to save almost half a million dollars in salaries and benefits alone. Let the principals of the 3 schools in our "district" meet once a week or every other week with a small committee to deal with state mandates/inter-school issues or simply merge with a real district.

Its good for the property value, as buyers would see that the taxes will not be raised without check. Now that if township reigns in other expenses!!!

Yes it would be an increase but at this rate our school programs will be sacificed and the level of education that brings people to the town will become unattractive, meaning vacant house and unpaid taxes that the rest of us will have to foot the bill for.

Who can afford it?? My property taxes are through the roof and I truly cannot afford another big increase. Let them try again when things have improved.

What a pity for the kids and the school system (and along with that, our property values).
